Warm clothing
The temperature at high altitude can drop significantly, especially at night, so warm clothing is a must. Carry a warm jacket, thermal inner wear, fleece or woollen sweaters, and windproof pants.
Trekking Boots
Good quality trekking shoes with ankle support and a sturdy sole are essential for the rocky and uneven terrain.
Backpack
A sturdy and comfortable backpack with a capacity of 50-60 litres is required to carry your personal items and trekking gear.
Sleeping Bag
A good quality sleeping bag rated for sub-zero temperatures is necessary for the cold nights.
Trekking Poles
Trekking poles help reduce the impact on your knees and provide stability on uneven terrain.
Headlamp/Flashlight
A headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries is essential for visibility during early morning or late evening hikes.
Sun Protection
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sun hat to protect yourself from the harsh sun at high altitude.
Water Bottle
Carry a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the trek. Water sources may not be readily available, so carry a water purification system.
First Aid Kit
Carry a basic first aid kit with essential medicines for altitude sickness, headaches, stomach upset, and any other personal medication.
Snacks
Carry energy bars, chocolates, nuts, and dry fruits to keep yourself energized during the long treks.
